| Thank you
for your interest in my crew photography!
I took these digital photos of the UST Crew at the Dad Vail Regatta, May 9 - 10, 2003. This year I missed my goal to capture at least one decent photo of each UST Crew boat; unfortunately I was unable to get a shot of the Men's Pair. I am pleased, however, to have captured multiple photos of some UST Crew boats. Many factors play into a great shot, and some of it is the luck of time and place. Photos of boats in lanes 1 - 3 tend to be more clear than those in lanes 4 - 6. The weather in Philadelphia this year was gray and hazy, and this is not usually great light for most photos and less so for action pics. Nearly all the pictures reflect this haze to some degree, making them seem a bit out of focus. In any case, I have "processed'' each photo, which means I selected the best quality pics and cropped them to create what I believe makes the best picture. UST Crew Members and their friends and families are welcome to download any photos posted on this site. In order to make the photos accessible via the Internet, the copies posted here have been significantly degraded from their original quality. Most of the original files are approximately 12MB, and can be printed with finer resolution as large as 15" X 11", give or take a few pixels. If you're interested in acquiring higher-quality custom prints or access to the raw files, prices are:
4"x6" size
range -- $2.50 Basically, it's $5.00 for a 8.5"x11" sheet with as many pics as you want on it. A 8.5"x11" sheet will fit two 4"x6" photos quite nicely. Different pictures are cropped to slighly different proportions, so they may not be exactly 4x6 or 8x10. If you have a specific frame, I can try to make it the best size for the frame. Satisfaction is, of course, guaranteed. Just let me know which pictures you want and what size. Prints can be mailed anywhere in the United States free of charge, or you can pick them up at my home or the MRC boathouse. UST Crew members, thanks for letting me tag along. You're an awesome crew and fun to watch. See you on the river,
