goal pace workout
This workout is challenging, but fun. It's designed to increase your 2k speed by actively pursuing your GP. Because of the high intensity, use the Erg Test/Race Warm-up for this one. Row at your GP for as long as you can, stopping the third time you see the 500m split drop 2 seconds slower than your GP. For example, if your GP is 1:35, stop the third time you see 1:37. Figure out how many meters you rowed at GP and calculate 80%, 60%, and 40% of that number. Row three more pieces at these distances, each at GP.
