PR. Personal Record. Your best 2K time. If you are training for head racing you can keep track of your PR for 5K.

GP. Goal Pace. Your dream 500 meter split for a 2K. Challenge yourself by picking a very fast pace. Not one that you can achieve in the next month, but one you might hit in the next year or two. From a training perspective, your goal pace should be one at which you can row with excellent technique for at least a short sprint.
