The goal with this workout is to row each piece as close to your 2k personal record split as you can. During a successful workout, the split for each of the 3 pieces should be very consistent. For example, if your PR is a split of 1:40, try to row all three pieces around a 1:42, rather than the first piece at 1:40 the second at 1:42 and the last at 1:45. Paddle and re-hydrate during the 3.5 minutes rest.

After doing this workout a few times, you will get a feel for what split you can hold consistently. Then challenge yourself. Do this workout once a week and watch your times improve.
